Ear Piercing Aftercare

Your piercing was performed with the FDA-registered STUDEX® System 75™ and sterile, single-use starter earrings. A little care each day helps it heal beautifully.

Daily routine

  1. 1Wash your hands before touching your ears.
  2. 2Clean the front and back of each piercing twice a day with the aftercare solution your Artist recommended.
  3. 3Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel — cloth towels can hold bacteria and snag jewelry.
  4. 4Clean after workouts, swimming or heavy sweating.

While it heals

  1. 1Keep your starter earrings in for the full healing period your Artist shared.
  2. 2Avoid sleeping directly on a fresh piercing — a travel pillow can help.
  3. 3Watch for hair, hats, headphones, masks and clothing that can catch or press on the jewelry.
  4. 4Change pillowcases often and keep phones clean.

Changing your jewelry

  1. 1Only change earrings once your piercing is fully healed.
  2. 2If your starter earrings come out unexpectedly, don't force them back in.

Fine Line Tattoo Aftercare

Fine line tattoos are permanent, delicate work. Keeping your new tattoo clean, moisturized and protected while it heals supports crisp lines that last.

The first day

  1. 1Leave any covering on for the time your Artist recommended.
  2. 2Wash your hands, then gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.
  3. 3Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let it air dry.

While it heals

  1. 1Wash gently and apply a thin layer of the fragrance-free moisturizer your Artist recommended.
  2. 2Expect light flaking or itching — let it shed on its own.
  3. 3Wear loose, clean clothing over the area.

Long-term care

  1. 1Once healed, use sunscreen on your tattoo to help keep fine lines from softening.
  2. 2Keep skin moisturized to keep your linework looking its best.

Keep them in place

  1. 1Avoid touching or pressing on your Revelmarks™ for the first few hours.
  2. 2Keep oils, lotions, serums and makeup remover away from the area.
  3. 3Pat dry gently after showering — no rubbing.
  4. 4Watch for friction from hair, hats, headphones and pillows.

Removing them

  1. 1When you're ready for a new look, gently lift from one edge.
  2. 2An oil-based cleanser or makeup remover helps loosen the adhesive.
  3. 3Wash away any residue with soap and water.
