What information do you need to prepare a quote?

To put together an accurate quote, we typically need the event date, location, expected guest count, audience type, and your overall goals for the activation. The more detail you share upfront, the faster we can recommend the right experience and pricing for your event.

What does the consultative process look like?

Once we have your details, we'll set up a conversation to understand your brand, your guests, and what success looks like for the event. Is the Pink Glove Experience™ only for device ear piercing?

No. While it was developed around our professional device ear piercing services, the Pink Glove Experience™ is the service standard behind everything we do—fine line tattoos, temporary body art, Revelmarks™, and every other Revel Road experience.

Phoenix & Arizona

Do you offer mobile piercing and body art in Phoenix, AZ?

Yes. Phoenix is Revel Road's home base. We bring device ear piercing, fine line tattoos, Revelmarks™ ear styling, temporary tattoos, and Swarovski crystal application to events across the Phoenix metro. Because our team is local, Phoenix-area events avoid travel costs and can often be booked on shorter notice.

Which Arizona cities and areas do you serve?

We cover the full Phoenix metro, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Paradise Valley, and Peoria, and we travel statewide to Tucson, Sedona, Flagstaff, Prescott, and Lake Havasu.

If a service isn't appropriate or cannot be performed safely, we simply won't perform it.

When our artists put on their pink gloves, it marks the beginning of the Pink Glove Experience™. The gloves also serve as appropriate personal protective equipment during applicable services.

Are your artists Bloodborne Pathogen certified?

Yes. All Revel Road artists who perform services requiring Bloodborne Pathogen training maintain current certification and are trained to follow industry-standard infection prevention and hygiene protocols. In addition to technical training, every artist is educated in Revel Road's proprietary Pink Glove Experience™.

Are your earrings sterile?

Yes. Every piercing earring is individually sterilized and remains sealed until your service begins. For our device ear piercings, we use sterile earrings designed specifically for the FDA-registered STUDEX® System 75™.

What cleaning procedures do you follow?

We maintain strict cleaning and sanitation protocols before, during, and after every service. Our artists wash or sanitize their hands, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, prepare clean work surfaces, use sterile single-use items where applicable, properly dispose of used materials, and disinfect equipment and work areas between guests.

What safety standards does Revel Road follow?

Safety is the foundation of every Revel Road experience. Our artists follow strict hygiene and infection prevention protocols, use professional-grade equipment, and perform every service with careful attention to cleanliness, technique, and guest well-being. From setup through aftercare, our proprietary Pink Glove Experience™ ensures every guest receives consistent, high-quality care.

Can you pierce everyone?

Not always—and that's intentional. Before every piercing, our artists assess each guest's anatomy and discuss their desired placement. If a piercing isn't suitable due to anatomy, healing considerations, or other safety concerns, we'll recommend an alternative placement or advise against the service.

What happens if a guest isn't a good candidate for piercing?

Your safety always comes first. If we determine that a piercing cannot be performed safely, we'll explain why and, whenever possible, suggest alternative placements or services that better suit your anatomy or goals. We'd rather decline a service than compromise your health, comfort, or long-term results.

Do you use single-use needles for needle piercings and tattoos?

Yes. All needle piercings and fine line tattoos are performed using sterile, single-use needles that are opened immediately before your service and safely disposed of afterward. We never reuse needles.

How do you prevent cross-contamination?

We follow strict protocols designed to minimize the risk of cross-contamination throughout every service. Our artists practice proper hand hygiene, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, use sterile and single-use items where applicable, maintain clean work surfaces, and disinfect equipment between guests.

What if I have a metal allergy?

Please note any metal sensitivities on your waiver before your service. We offer jewelry options made from nickel-safe, surgical stainless steel, including Studex® device piercing jewelry made in the USA. Our Artists are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose a sensitivity. If we can't offer something appropriate, we'll recommend postponing the service.

What should I do if I have a medical condition before getting pierced?

Our Artists are not medical professionals and do not evaluate or make claims about medical conditions. Any medical history, allergies, or medications are disclosed through your waiver. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before your appointment. We reserve the right to decline or postpone service if we believe it's not appropriate to move forward.

What if I change my mind during my appointment?

Absolutely no problem. Your comfort and confidence are just as important as the service itself. Whether you need more time, want to change your jewelry or placement, or decide not to move forward at all, we'll support your decision without pressure.

Can children participate?

This depends on the service being offered and the specific event. Some experiences, such as temporary body art, may be available for guests of all ages, while device ear piercing for minors is offered only at select events and requires a parent or legal guardian to be present throughout the appointment. Fine line tattoos are available to guests 18 years of age or older.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking. Individual services: because our experiences are provided during scheduled events and activations, cancellations and refunds are generally not available. Private events and brand activations: cancellation, payment, and rescheduling terms are outlined in your signed client agreement. Do you require booking deposits?

Some bookings require a deposit to reserve your date or appointment. For private events and brand activations, deposit requirements will be outlined in your proposal or service agreement. Individual appointments offered at select events may also require a deposit. Any deposit requirements will always be communicated before your booking is confirmed.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Many Revel Road activations can continue as planned, but weather policies depend on the event location and setup. For outdoor events, we work closely with event organizers to determine the safest course of action in the event of severe weather. Guest and artist safety is always our highest priority.

Can I reschedule my appointment or event?

Whenever possible, yes. If you need to reschedule an individual appointment or private event, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate your requested date based on availability and the terms of your booking. For brand activations and corporate events, any changes will be coordinated directly with your event contact.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Revel Road is a mobile experiential company, not a traditional retail storefront, so walk-in availability depends on the event. For public pop-ups and open community events, walk-in guests are often welcome based on availability. What payment methods do you accept?

Payment options vary by event. At events where guests purchase services directly, we typically accept major credit and debit cards, along with other contactless payment methods. Some client-sponsored activations are complimentary for guests, so no payment is required.

Are gratuities accepted?

While gratuities are never expected, they are always appreciated. If tipping is available at your event and you'd like to recognize your artist for exceptional service, you're welcome to do so. The availability of gratuities may vary depending on the event or client.

Are Revel Road services refundable?

All individual services are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. If you have questions about your experience or would like to share feedback, please contact us at hello@revelroad.com and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

What forms of ID are required for piercing services?

Guests receiving device ear piercing will be asked to present a valid government-issued photo ID. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must attend with valid identification. Additional documentation may be required depending on state and event regulations.

Do I need to sign a waiver before my service?

Yes. Guests receiving services such as device ear piercing or fine line tattoos are required to complete the appropriate consent and release forms before their appointment begins. Depending on the event, waivers may be completed digitally or on-site. Our team is always happy to answer any questions before you sign.

What if I'm running late?

If your service is part of a scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate late arrivals whenever scheduling allows. For walk-up activations, simply check in with a Revel Road team member when you arrive, and we'll help you with the next available opportunity.

Cancellations and refusals of service

If a service cannot be performed for safety reasons before it begins, or if a guest is not respecting our policies, procedures, or our team, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue the service. We'll discuss the options available to you. For private events, appointments, or client-sponsored activations, any applicable refund terms will be communicated at the time of booking or outlined in your service agreement.
